Ms. W loves wonderful WORDS. The children did a great job building a word wall on our bulletin board last week. They looked like 1st graders walking around our room with clip boards and writing down different words they found. I'm so proud of them!
We had a special surprise on Friday for Western Day! A real live cowboy came to visit our class! This visitor was no stranger to us though! His name is Cowboy Jim and he is JAY's DAD! He told us all about what a real, live cowboy does at works, and he even corralled us with his lasso. WE appreciate him coming and sharing with us! Thanks Cowboy Jim!
Mr. G was goofing with his gooey gum and look what happened! He laid his gum on the side of his bed and it got stuck to the back of his head! This week we have had fun learning all about letter G! We are learning about how gardens grow this week also! During center time, we are making our very own grass heads. We are also 'planting' beans in a baggie and watching them sprout as they hang in the sun on our back door. Come by and sneek a peek at our 'garden' growning!
Mr. H is one happy fella! He is hoping each and every one of our students will be able to know their home address! We are building houses and decorating them with candy doors and windows. As soon as the students can say their address all by themselves, they will get to take their candy house home!
