Field Trip to Bolingreen Nursing Home

Our boys and girls had a great time visiting with the residents at Bolingreen today.  We excercised, sang songs, trick or treated, and then had pizza on the patio.  It was a blessing to see the residents faces light up with joy as they visited with the children! Here are a few pictures...

Character Day at TSA!

We had so much fun dressing up as our favorite character today! Take a look and see if you recognize any of these!

Mr. N teaches us about Nocturnal animals!

Mr. N and his Noisy Nose arrived this week to share with us some new facts about Nocturnal animals!

Today we learned about hedgehogs, the cutest of all nocturnal creatures.  We used clay and toothpicks to create our own hedgehogs and even gave each one a special name.  The children fell in love with these precious little animals as we watched a video clip about them.   CLICK HERE to watch!

Here are the hedgehogs we made in class today!

Pumpkin Pounds

Today we read about pumpkins, sorted our class pumpkins, lined them up by height, and then weighed them.  Then the boys and girls stepped on the scales to see how much they weighed compared to our pumpkins. Here are our results:

First we guessed our weight...
(You didn't really think I was going to jump on the scales did you?!?!)

And Just for Fun.....
Mrs. Barbara jumped on the scales!
Yes, the children were amazed! ;)
